Body Flowers ~ Fantasy Characters ( Legends / Heroes / Fairytales ) next back Participants are required to create a piece of Body Flowers in the theme of ‘Fantasy Characters’ as the competition piece. This Fantasy Characters theme include Legendary characters, Heroes or Superheroes, and Fairytale characters that brings to life, childhood fantasy characters that children basically grow up with, as their heroes, mentors or inspiration in their lives. Mannequins will be provided for this competition; it can be collected from the organizer for pre -structured and other dried materials installation 3 days before the competition. Proper steps should be taken to ensure materials used are fully conditioned and stay fresh for up to 10 days throughout the entire event. • A “Title” is to be adopted with a brief description ( in less than 30 words ) and will be displayed on the description card. • Structures, dried materials, gluing, wiring and taping can be prepared in advanced on the mannequin assigned. NO prior assembly of fresh materials are permitted on the mannequin before the contest. Total design composition should utilize 60% of fresh flowers materials, 40% of other dried materials and/or decorative ornaments. • Displays need to be fully completed between 2.00 pm to 6.00pm on 12th June. 2014 ( Thursday ) • Judging will commence on 13th June2014 ( Friday ) • Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained. • Winners will be announced on the official opening on, 14th June 2014 ( Saturday ) • Participants need to dismantle and clear away ALL their design and displayed materials on 23rd June, 2014 ( Monday ) between 9.00am - 5.00pm. Space Details i. Standard mannequins provided ( females & males ) ~ please state your choice in the competition registration form. ii. Mannequin stands - low round pedestal Diameter 600mm X H 400mm. iii. 1 no.100W long arm spotlight each. iv. Description card. Winners will receive a trophy, certificate and cash prizes of RM 600.00 , RM 300.00 and RM 200.00 for the Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively and 2 discretionary Merit Award will receive a certificate and cash prize of RM 100.00 each. * 1 Design Leaf Creative Award + 2 pieces of Design Leaf Megazines. |
