Dining Room Design ( 宴会房设计 )
The participant will need to create an innovative contemporary feel for the dining room in a home setting. Props are
NOT provided and the set up display must be designed with water retaining material which could be maintained and
presentable for the 10 days exhibition period.
• It is compulsory to provide a “Title” with a brief description of the design ( in less than 30 words ) which will be
displayed on the description card.
• 70% of fresh flower and foliages, 30% of other ornaments are to be used.
• The display must be staged within the booth size.
• Displays need to be fully completed by 7.00pm on 28th May 2015.
• Judging will commence on 29th May 2015 ( Friday ).
• Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained.
• Winners will be announced on the official opening on 30th May 2015 ( Saturday ).
• Participants need to dismantle and clear away ALL their design and displayed materials on 08th June 2015
( Monday ) between 9.00am - 5.00pm.
Space Details
i. Open floor area H 3000mm X W 35000mm X D 3000m.
ii. Booth with selected wall paint ( final with designer's choice )
iii. Carpeted floor - final with designers' choice.
iv. 1 nos. Power point
v. 4 nos. 100 w long arm spotlight.
vi. 1 nos. Description stand.
Note
• A ‘standard’ dining set comprising a plain table of L 1500 mm X W 900mm with 6 banquet chairs can be provided upon a written request * ( table cloth & seat covers are NOT PROVIDED. )
• 3 pcs metal poles to support hanging object can be provided upon a written request*
Winners will receive a trophy, certificate and cash prizes of RM 2,000.00 RM 1,000.00 and RM 800.00 for the Gold, Silver and
Bronze respectively. Discretionary Awards will be presented for two ( 2 ) Merit Awards with a certificate and cash
prize of RM 400.00 each and one ( 1 ) LEAF Creative Award.
